About PT. IndoAkuarium

More Than Building Aquariums.

IndoAkuarium is a pioneer in large-scale aquarium design and construction in Indonesia, bringing the beauty of the underwater world to the surface in ways never seen before. Since 2000, we have created iconic works that merge art, technology, and nature – from the world’s longest aquarium and the tallest private residential aquarium, to Indonesia’s largest aquarium.

Led by Judy Prajitno Putra, an aquarium landscape designer who lives by the philosophy “Love Nature, Live Better” and “Same Planet, Different World” , every project we create is unique. We never replicate designs; instead, each aquarium tells its own story – offering relaxation, education, adn pride to those who experience it.

Through the bold vision of the Aquaworld of Indonesia, we are committed to showcasing the nation’s maritime heritage on a national scale, making the ocean accessible to everyone – not just divers. It is our mission to create spaces, where people of all backgrounds can connect with, appreciate, and protect Indonesia’s extraordinary marine life.

With innovation, cost-efficient maintenance solutions, and an authentic design approach, Indo Aquarium does more than build aquariums – we craft immersive experiences that connect people with nature.

Our vision is to establish Aquaworld of Indonesia as a globally recognized destination where art, innovation, and nature unite to showcase the extraordinary beauty of Indonesia's underwater heritage while inspiring environmental awareness for generations to come.

Through art, innovation, craftsmanship, and sustainable practices, we transform spaces into meaningful encounters with nature—encouraging curiosity, appreciation, and a lasting commitment to protecting our planet for generations to come.

About The designer

Judy Prajitno Putra

A Visionary in Living Aquatic Ecosystems

For more than 25 years, Judy Prajitno has dedicated his life to the art of aquascaping and aquarium design, transforming his deep love for nature and underwater life into extraordinary living ecosystems.

His journey began in 2000, when he founded CV. Blowfish Aquascape in Lampung. What started as a passion for aquascaping evolved into a lifelong pursuit of creating immersive environments where aquatic life, nature, and architecture exist in harmony.

For Judy, an aquarium is more than an object of beauty. It is a living work of art—one that brings people closer to the underwater world while preserving the life within it.

THE PHILOSOPHY

LOVE NATURE. LIVE BETTER.

Judy believes that when we learn to love and appreciate nature, we ultimately learn to live better.

His work is deeply rooted in the principles of nature, sustainability, and individuality. No two creations are ever designed to be the same. Every project is conceived as its own world, with its own character, ecosystem, and story.

His philosophy is simple:

Same Planet. Different World.

Everything he creates still exists on the same planet we call home. Yet, when experienced, each environment has the ability to transport us somewhere else—to a world beneath the water, within a forest, or inside a living ecosystem that feels entirely removed from the ordinary.

OUR DREAM TO BUILD
AQUAWORLD OF INDONESIA

Judy Prajitno’s greatest ambition is to create Aquaworld of Indonesia—a visionary aquarium gallery dedicated to showcasing the extraordinary aquatic biodiversity of Indonesia to the world.

Envisioned as a destination where nature, architecture, art, and living ecosystems converge, Aquaworld of Indonesia aims to become more than a gallery. It is envisioned as a landmark in the world of aquarium architecture—a place where Indonesia’s extraordinary aquatic life can be experienced through immersive environments of unparalleled scale, beauty, and imagination.

Through Aquaworld of Indonesia, Judy hopes to create a destination that brings people from Indonesia and around the world closer to the country’s rich natural heritage. A place where visitors can encounter the unique species, landscapes, and ecosystems that make Indonesia one of the world’s most remarkable centers of biodiversity—and leave with a deeper appreciation for why they must be preserved.

For Judy, this vision represents more than the culmination of more than 25 years of creating aquariums. It is a legacy in the making.

A masterpiece born from decades of experience, passion, and an unwavering belief that aquarium design can transcend decoration and become architecture, art, and a living expression of nature.

Aquaworld of Indonesia is envisioned to stand as a proud representation of Indonesia on the international stage—bringing the beauty of its aquatic biodiversity into a world-class architectural experience, and placing Indonesia among the destinations that redefine what an aquarium can be.

Because ultimately, Judy’s work has never been only about aquariums.

It is about bringing people closer to nature.

It is about creating worlds that inspire us to love the planet we share.

And it is about leaving something behind that allows Indonesia’s natural beauty to be experienced, remembered, and admired by generations to come.

Same Planet. Different World.
